KANCO through M- Health project is using mobile technology to enhance service access, consistency in follow up and adherence. m-Klinic (application) seeks to take a different route where services are delivered on SMS and USSD applications to the end user.

The application has been developed in simple way which consists of two profiles with different roles set as per clients’ requirements. Through the application KANCO has been able to improve: 1)Tracking of Clients initially very tedious due to the manual process requiring outreach workers to physical document each client; 2) Documentation and retrieval of client’s medical history; 3) Improved follow up through tracking of patients to remind them of their next appointments and 4) Improved referral Management where service providers are able to monitor client referrals.
