Stronger organizations are able to deliver sustainable quality programming overtime. They are also able to win the confidence of beneficiaries, government and the donor community. In this plan KANCO prioritizes institutional systems strengthening to ensure the existence of stronger governance, financial, human resources and program management systems for effective delivery of programs by KANCO and its associated embers. The strengthening of KANCO’s capacity through a strong, unified and responsive membership to the Kenyan and regional populace in addressing the health challenges is thus imperative. The gains from such capacity will have a cascade effect to its membership in Kenya and also the region hence strengthened civil society sector.
For KANCO to remain competitive, relevant and a national leader in networking local HIV/AIDS and health focused organizations, its capacity as an institution is paramount and will need to be prioritized.
