KANCO as a learning organization understands the value of research and its position in informing a strong advocacy agenda, evidence based programing and contribution to the growing global body of knowledge. The commitment to continually learn from evidence generated through research defines KANCO’s energy to develop strategies that are unique to addressing specific concerns, innovative and robust to realize results. For an effective global health response, research and innovation are inevitable to make the difference. Interventions need to be targeted and through research appropriate evidence is generated to allow for planning and execution of actions besides presenting evidence of what works well for scale up of actions.
